Our genre is a teen movie, we looked a number of related films; such as: Mean Girls as it centres on a girl who wants to be popular and becomes it, Freaky Friday, Bring It On and American Pie. As we wanted our opening to be as realistic as possible, we thought it would be appropriate to look at British movies. We looked at Bend It Like Beckham, St Trinians and Angus Thongs And Perfect Snogs. We also looked at Waterloo Road a t.v series as there weren't much British movies to look at. As it's centred around young british teens we felt it would be good to look at for camera shots.
